BacTech Environmental

BacTech Environmental Corporation (BCCEF), created in December 2010 as part of the BacTech Mining Corporation Plan of Arrangement, will apply the patented BACOX bioleaching technology to the processing of toxic, arsenic-laden mine tailings. An added benefit of bioleaching, in addition to stabilizing arsenic and capturing heavy metals, is that it oxidizes sulphides in mine tailings, thereby eliminating a major source of acid mine drainage. The technology also recovers precious and base metals from tailings for sale to market. Bioleaching is an environmental clean-up solution that also creates a profit.

Nov 12, 2012 - BacTech Obtains OTC Pink Sheet Listing in U.S.

The Companys key competitive advantages include an experienced board and management team, strategic investor backing and proprietary technology. The Companys bacterial oxidation and bioleaching technologies are commercially proven to liberate precious metals from difficult-to-treat sulphide ores and concentrates, with environmental and economic benefits. To date, the Company's patented BACOX technology has been used at three gold mines located in Australia, Tasmania and China.
