Miktos – Greek, meaning to blend, mix or go well together. This is our first vintage of Miktos – a blend from the best barrels from Dunnsden’s Cabernet Sauvignon (hillside fruit), Merlot from our 25-year-old Windacre Vineyard, as well as our Windacre Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Like our vineyard-designated Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine is aged for 24 months with 100% French oak. The wine is racked from barrel to barrel and is unfined and unfiltered.

Tasting Notes

Our wines are known for their deep, dark, garnet color. Black raspberries, dried currant, ripe cherries and tobacco notes with a cherry drop in the middle. Finish is medium dry with light tannins. Long finish of mint, plum, eucalyptus and cedar cigar.
